117. Philip Malkin Photo Collection
soon. Travel Collection This is a very general collection of images taken during various excursions. Thank you for your visit. info
This collection of photographs began about fifteen years ago. I decided to only use a small 35mm "snap shot" type of camera to document in journal form my travels. The photographs are an attempt to record sights and places that I have been to that have inspired me in one form or another. All the collections are an on going work.
The California Collection began when I moved to Northern California in April 1987. The France Collection is from my trip to Paris in the Spring of 1993. The United Kingdom Collection are pictures taken during my visit to the UK in March 2000. Iberian Collection are the pictures taken while traveling mostly in Spain. I spent only two days in Portugal which was quite wonderful in 1998. I returned to Spain in 2001 and stayed on the island of Mallorca. Italy Collection are photographs that I took while traveling in Italy in September 1996. Mexico Collection are from a road trip I took to Baja, Mexico. New York Collection This collection are from pictures taken during infrequent visits to NY to visit with my family. Special Collection are pictures that don't fit into any other collection.
