All Oregon Institute of Technology degree programs, regardless of specialty, prepare students for roles as employees, citizens and humanists through required and elective general education courses. These courses are integrated with the major's technical courses, and ensure that graduates have made progress toward becoming educated persons, and provide a foundation for lifelong learning. General education courses are organized within the curriculum in such a manner that students will acquire knowledge, abilities and appreciation as integrated elements of the education experience. If a student holds a baccalaureate degree or higher from a recognized, accredited institution, as determined by OIT, the OIT general education requirements for the OIT baccalaureate may be waived subject to departmental program requirements.

that your transfer program has met, in full, the lowerdivision general educationrequirements (those expected of all students) at any oregon public university
    http://oregonone.org/onefaq10.htm
FAQs How do I transfer courses? How do I transfer from one institution to another? For college/university students, there are many issues students may encounter when attempting to transfer courses and credits from one institution to another. A sampling of these issues are addressed below. Whatever your situation, we highly recommend that you get help from an academic advisor on your current campus (if you have one) and the campus and department to which you plan to transfer. Course Transfer and How To Do It "Course transfer" is the process that happens when a student completes a course or courses at one institution (or distance education provider) and has those credits applied to their course record at another institution (or provider). If you want to do this, you must furnish the admission (or registrar's) office of your transfer institution with an official written record (called a "transcript") of course-work previously taken and ask that the credits be evaluated for transfer. The transfer institution will then inform you which of the credits are transferrable (and if not, why not), and how they are being accepted. For example, some of the credits may be applied to the institution's "general education requirements" (which must be completed by all students); yet others may be accepted as "electives" (courses that you may apply to your degree program in any way they fit).
