Last spring, seventeen Business Seminar students headed out for a ten-day field trip to Chicago, Boston and New York, under the leadership of Headmistress Rosemary Didear and Business Seminar Teacher Mark Siegel. The trip's goal was simple: allow students to gain a first-hand understanding of the world of business and finance by visiting top businesses and meeting with professionals. The trip achieved this and more. Highlights of the trip were touring in groups of three and four with traders on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange and meeting both Colin Powell and Kofi Annan at the United Nations.
