    Take Georgia Avenue north to Randolph Road, turn right and go east until Randolph intersects with New Hampshire Avenue. Turn right, go about 2 miles south until you see high-rise apartments on the skyline. Get into the left hand lane. The library is on the left. West (Kensington area) Take University Blvd. East to Four Corners. Turn left on Colesville Road (Route 29). Go 2 miles to the intersection with New Hampshire Avenue, which is a cloverleaf. Take the second exit (New Hampshire Avenue North). The library is the first building on the right, once you are on New Hampshire Avenue headed north.

The Spring 2004 meeting of HSL NH/VT was held on Thursday, April 15, at the Quechee Club in Quechee, VT. It was well-attended, and packed with all sorts of information. The business meeting in the morning presented the opportunity for review of the draft of the new by-laws. Discussion concerning that can be found in the minutes of the meeting, available here Following the business meeting, Paulette Fraser, MS, RN, BC, Director of Education at CMC in Manchester, gave a presentation on the topic of "Nursing Informatics: A Specialty in Nursing." She provided the group with an overview of the development of Nursing Informatics as a field, and showed how the fields of Nursing Informatics and Health Science librarianship were compatible. here The National Library Alliance, who generously provided our refreshments for the day, was also represented at the Spring meeting by Leah Cahill to give a brief presentation on resources available through the NLA, which are of especial interest to small medical libraries. Leah gave an explanation of how the NLA worked, and what was currently available through them, in terms of resources, with an emphasis on their major effort, a discounted subscription to Stat!Ref.
