Welcome to the NBSCA Website!
As President and on behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to welcome you to the Website of the New Brunswick Scottish-Cultural Association. On the following pages you will find the history of the Association, the latest news on our initiatives, links to other sites of interest, the Association's governing structure, Constitution, By-Laws, how to become a member, subscribe to the NB Scottish Journal and so much more.
New Brunswick has a very rich Scottish heritage. Everywhere you will find history of the Scottish immigrates who settled and built this province to what we know today. As President I am committed to the promotion of this Association and its work in promoting and protecting the Scottish culture in New Brunswick.
I believe one of my most important roles is to establish links with the different Scottish groups in New Brunswick. To bind more closely together these diverse groups to improve communication and the sharing of information. During my term as President I have been very fortunate to attend many of the Scottish celebrations around the province over the past 6 years. In all of these occasions I have more than enjoyed meeting the different people who are part of the larger Scottish community in New Brunswick.
I hope you will find this site interesting and informative and that it will give you a true picture of the role of the Association in New Brunswick. If you have any questions, general comments or just suggestions on how this site can be improved I would love to hear from you.
