Our Staff
Our office excels at providing professional and comprehensive customer service with a personal touch. Our staff include: Beth Jackson, Ed.D. Assistant Dean and Director of Professional Development/Continuing Education Beth received her BA in English from the University of California, Davis, and her MA in Educational Leadership from the University of Washington. She received her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Seattle University in 1982. She has over 30 years of experience in public education, as a teacher at both the middle school and high school levels, and as an administrator. Her administrative experience includes high school principal (Kentridge High School) and assistant superintendent (Enumclaw School District). Beth enjoys traveling, playing volleyball, biking, golfing, and is happy to be owned by a black lab. Merica Whitehall Administrative Assistant for Professional Development/Continuing Education Merica received her BA in political science from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. She completed one year of study at Creighton University Law School then moved to Seattle to pursue a career in the arts. She enjoyed a 10 year career as an arts manager and performing artist. Merica is excited to support the mission of Seattle University, service and education, as a member of our department.
