A Few Words of Advice
Maintaining Status
You are responsible for maintaining your immigration status. There are several important things you must do to maintain status: 1. Maintain a valid passport 2. If you are a student, maintain a full-time enrollment and normal progress toward your degree. Twelve credit hours per semester are considered a full course load for undergraduates. Graduate students must take at least nine credit hours per semester to be considered full-time. Students with graduate assistantships must enroll in a minimum of six credit hours per semester. 3. Contact the Coordinator of International Student and Scholar Services if you plan to transfer to, or from, Central Missouri State University, or if you change academic level. The INS must be notified of these changes. 4. Do not work off-campus without employment authorization.
