| Before you enter this site consider this. Our healthcare system in collapsing. If left alone the status quo solution will be to publicly subsidize the health insurance companies as they get to a point where they can no longer pass their higher premiums on to the American business community and the public. The American business community is already cutting back benefits or eliminating them entirely AND taking it back from retirees. More and more people are becoming uninsured as a result. Who will offer an alternative plan to fix this. The Health Insurance industry? No. They seem to believe that in the end they are "too big to fail" and will have to be rescued by the taxpayer. The doctors and hospitals? The Congress? Probably not, unless the people make it very clear that they favor a single payer alternative which functions to benefit citizens rather than the status quo "industry" and financial interests. We have a relatively simple and straightforward single payer solution that would work.
