Ancient sarcophagus discovered
The sarcophagus was found underneath one of the Giza pyramids
Archaeologists in Egypt have found the symbolic tomb of the ancient Egyptian god Osiris buried deep underneath one of the Giza pyramids.
According to Egyptian archaeologist Zahi Hawass, the discovery of the granite sarcophagus became possible after water levels inside the pyramids sank.
Mr Hawass said the sarcophagus, which is estimated to date from 500 BC in the New Kingdom, was surrounded by the remains of four pillars built in the shape of a hieroglyphic House of Osiris.
Ruler of the underworld
The granite sarcophagus was burried deep underneath a pyramid Osiris was one of the most important gods of ancient Egypt who according to mythology was murdered by his wicked brother Seth. He was buried by Isis, his sister-wife, and brought back to life as judge of the dead and ruler of the underworld. According to Mr Hawass, Herodotus, the famous ancient historian, mentioned that this tomb existed in the middle of the 5th century BC, but it has never been possible to access it because of high water levels.

http://www.stanford.edu/~scheidel/what.htm
2003 Ian Morris and Walter Scheidel WHAT IS ANCIENT HISTORY? Ian Morris and Walter Scheidel The ancients and us We start with an obvious question: why study the distant past? In every documented society, people have tried to understand themselves by tracing their origins. In the eighteenth century, western Europeans perceived that they were pulling away from the rest of the world in terms of technology, wealth, and military power. Some of them felt that an identity rooted in the Bible could not explain this. They augmented that narrative of origins with a second, positing a distinct “Europeanness” that began in fifth-century-BC Greece. They contrasted this Greek heritage with the supposedly static, ancient societies of China, India, and the Middle East. Classics and Biblical studies become the twin pillars of theories of Euro-American identity. Both fields were distinct from the other branches of world history that developed in the nineteenth century. Many classical historians felt that their job was to explain the origins of western civilization, while other historians worked to show where the rest of the world had gone wrong. The founding fathers of the social sciences (particularly Marx and Weber) built many of these assumptions into their models. This view of the field has fallen apart since 1945, as academics found it increasingly difficult to define the core issue as being to explain Euro-American superiority. By the 1980s, some scholars even claimed that any study of ancient Greece and Rome was automatically part of a Eurocentric charter myth.

In addition, the Aryans in the Middle East, most notably the Hittites, have now been found to have been in that region at least as early as 2200 BC, wherein they are already mentioned in Sumerian literature. In fact they derived their script from that of the third dynasty of Sumeria. Any Aryan invasion into the Middle East has been pushed back some centuries, though the evidence so far is that the people of the mountain regions of the Middle East were Indo-Europeans as far as recorded history can be traced. The Indo-European Kassites of the ancient Middle East worshipped Vedic Gods like Surya and the Maruts, as well as one named Himalaya.

Hinduism : The Eternal Tradition, Sanatana Dharma ANCIENT HISTORY REVISED Ancient History Revised
We have examined the Aryan invasion theory and seen how it has continually failed to prove itself. It has tried to readjust itself to new evidence that has gradually undermined it and now leaves nothing left to hold it up. Therefore we must look at the history of India and the world in the light of the collapse of the invasion theory. The acceptance of a Vedic nature to Harappan and pre-Harappan civilization creates a revolution in our view of history, not just of India but of the entire world.
First it equates Indo-European peoples with one of the largest and oldest of ancient civilizations not in Europe or the Middle East but in South Asia. The idea that the Indo-Europeans were originally nomads or primitive in culture and took over civilization from the people of the Middle East is thereby called into question.
