Effective July 1, 2003 This Circular is published annually, solely for the information of Federal bond-approving officers and persons required to give bonds to the United States. Copies of the Circular and interim changes may be obtained directly from the internet or from the Government Printing Office (202) 512-1800. (Interim changes are published in the FEDERAL REGISTER and on the internet as they occur.) You can become a volunteer with one of our three programs, or a financial supporter. Your financial contribution is a tax-deductible charitable gift that supports our ability to serve. Join us as we help build stronger communities by improving the financial management of nonprofits and families. Volunteer for the Tax Assistance Program Volunteer for the First Accounts Program Volunteer for the Nonprofit Services Program Volunteer for the Tax Assistance Program If you want to enrich your life by sharing your skills, then the Tax Assistance Program (TAP) is for you! You don't have to be a tax expert (but you can be!) because we provide specialized training so that you can work one-on-one with clients. We recruit individuals to serve as tax preparation trainers, tax preparers, computer data entry clerks, customer service representatives, public relations and marketing specialists, and client screeners and greeters. Volunteers who have Microsoft Excel and/or Access experience are needed to assist staff with data entry and tallying statistics. Income tax preparation is also required to assist homebound clients. If you are not available on weekends but have some weekdays to volunteer, we can certainly use your help.

    The Family Resource Management Graduate Program focuses on the allocation of human and non-human resources to achieve the goals of the consumer. Within this framework, students develop specializations in consumer and family economics, family financial management, family resource management, or some combination of these. All graduate students are required to complete a first year sequence of coursework in family resource management, as well as coursework in microeconomics, and statistics. Upper level coursework in family resource management as well as additional coursework is planned to meet the intellectual interests and professional goals of the student. Students may choose supporting areas such as economics, business, sociology, statistics, or political science. The Master of Science program usually requires six to eight quarters of work. Students must complete a minimum of 45 credit hours of graduate coursework including a thesis or individual investigation.

    Workplace Skills Assessment Program The Guidelines 2004 is available online at www.bpa.org The Workplace Skills Assessment Program is an integral part of Business Professionals of America. The goal of the program is to provide all business students the opportunity to demonstrate workplace skills learned through business education curriculums. Students will:
