The U.S. Naval Academy Museum is located in Preble Hall on the grounds of the US Naval Academy in Annapolis , Maryland. The Naval Academy Museum was built in 1939 through the generosity of the Naval Academy Athletic Association and the Naval Institute.
The Main Hall exhibitions contain some of the most important artifacts in the collection: artifacts from famous ships such as USS Constitution and USS Monitor, along with memorabilia of early leaders such as Edward Preble, Isaac Hull, two Perry brothers, John Dahlgren, and William Halsey. The exhibitions continue to inspire visitors with the historic and continuing contributions of the United States Navy and the Naval Academy. Hours:

At the time of registration, parents are required to be residents of Howard County and currently residing in Northfield's school district. Exceptions are made via petition to Pupil Personnel Services at the Board of Education. Strict proof of residency is required. (see below)

    Parent must live in the actual school district in which you plan to enroll your student.

    Tuition Assistance (TA) allows enlisted servicemembers and offers to enroll in courses at accredited colleges, universities, junior colleges, high schools, and vocational-technical schools. TA will pay up to 100% of the cost of the course and up to 100% of the cost of obtaining a high school degree, with an aggregate annual limit of $4,500. MGIB benefits may be used to "top up" TA benefits, paying the difference between tuition and the TA benefits. Army/Navy/Marine Corps College Funds
    The Army, Navy and Marine Corps each provide tuition assistance in addition to what you earn through the Montgomery GI Bill. The Army and Navy funds increase the amount of support to as much as $50,000 and the Marine Corps fund increases the amount of support to as much as $30,000. College Funds are awarded on a competitive basis according to academic merit. Community College of the Air Force
    The Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) is a two-year college open only to enlisted men and women. It offers a variety of programs leading to an Associate's Degree, in more than 70 scientific and technical fields. The Air Force pays for up to 75% of the cost of the college courses through its Tuition Assistance Program.

Other areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, raising and lowering flags; directing traffic and parking control; patrolling outside facilities to ensure security; maintain control of assigned keys and combinations which allows access to facilities; contacting local or state police in the event of crime, vandalism, break-in or vehicle theft; prepare written reports of incidents involving personnel, equipment or material in/around facilities; inform employees and visitors of facility regulations and enforce same; contact local fire department in the event of medical or facility emergency and observe the overall appearance of the facilities in relation to security and take appropriate action to correct any deficiencies. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Ability to read and write.
