Wednesday, March 31, 2004 Cell Phones Rich and I are LAN free. We both have cell phones and use those instead. The downside, I couldn't call various Help Desks during the day, and the one for Canon was closed before 9 pm (when my night-time minutes start). I just got a new phone (I still need to send the phone number out to everyone) and I have that Verizon IN-Networking calling option. It's great! I can call people anytime! Woo!
I'm retiring my old cell phone. After 2 years, I logged 600 hours on it. I spent 25 entire days on the phone. Wow! I guess that's what having a long distance relationship can do for you. I've also always used phone a lot. I was one of those teenagers who was constantly on the phone. Luckily, there's no such thing as long-distance.
In other news, Andrew finally has DSL! Even though I won't see him for a year and a half, I'll still keep up on his life because of his blog . Don't forget to request your NJ Absentee ballot, Andrew! NJ Primaries are in June! Posted at 12:16:36 AM LinktoComments('108071019665882312') Comment

Introduction README InterComm 1.0 InterComm is a framework for coupling distributed memory parallel components. It enables efficient communication in the presence of complex data distributions. In many modern scientific applications, multiple parallel and/or sequential components need to cooperate to solve a complex problem. These components often use different languages and different libaries to parallelize their data. InterComm provides abstractions that work across these differences to provide an easy, efficient, and flexible means to move data directly from one component's data structure to another. Currently, InterComm supports components written in C, Fortran77, C++, and Fortran90. Data parallel library support is provided for Chaos, MultiBlockParti, and P++. For a more technical discussion of the InterComm architecture and performance, please see the papers available at: http: //www.cs.umd.edu/projects/hpsl/ResearchAreas/ic

About this Volume Romantic Circles Praxis Series Contributors
About this Volume
This volume of Romantic Circles Praxis Series includes an editor's introduction by Ina Ferris with essays by H. J. Jackson Ina Ferris and Deidre Lynch This volume seeks to make more visible in Romantic studies not just the ubiquitous bookishness of the period but the role of the physical book in personal and cultural identity-formations. In different ways, all three essays in the volume concentrate on how the public and national role of libaries as institutions of circulation was not only given affective charge but also often unsettled by an individual relationship to books and by the formation of private libraries as personal sites of collection and memory. Romantic Circles Praxis Series , is fully searchable. The essays and other files were marked up in HTML by Kate Singer at the University of Maryland. The volume cover and contents page were also designed and marked up by Kate Singer .
About the Romantic Circles Praxis Series
The Romantic Circles Praxis Series is devoted to using computer technologies for the contemporary critical investigation of the languages, cultures, histories, and theories of Romanticism. Tracking the circulation of Romanticism within these interrelated domains of knowledge

Subject: Prison librarians - question
This message is directed to prison librarians. We often get
written requests from Native American prisoners for legal information
regarding their religious rights as prisoners. What kind of collections
and services do prison libraries have. Can they/do/should they supply law review articles, cases or other materials on broad topics such as these? If not, can prison libraries request information for the prisoner from other libraries? If so, is it possible to get reimbursed for photocopies and/or shipping of books? We would be glad to serve prisoners but would like to be able to get reimbursed for our costs.
