W. E. Marriner Memorial Scholarship Fund CODES: A/H/R, 28, 29 View Course of Study and Eligibility Codes
Who is eligible to apply? High school seniors and adults from the Brunswick area, including Brunswick (Brunswick High and Maine Vocational Region 10), Harpswell, Topsham, Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Freeport and Richmond, who are pursuing a post secondary vocational education (not to exceed the baccalaureate degree) in the areas of boat-building, forestry and fisheries.
Scholarship amount: Individual grants up to $5,000
How are the scholarships awarded? Selection of recipients is made annually by the use of a list of potential students recommended by principals and directors of guidance from the Brunswick area schools, Richmond and the Director of Maine Vocational Region Ten. From these lists, the WEMMF Society will select its recipient or recipients. Selected students must: Have passing grades in the first semester and be enrolled for the second semester before scholarship funds are released directly to the school (co-signed check).
