Mitt Romney, an opponent of gay marriage, threatened an injunction against clerks who defied his order and issued licenses to out-of-state couples. And the governor demanded the defiant communities send him copies of all marriage licenses issued to nonresidents, with the intent of declaring them void. Those threats prompted Manhattan couple Edward DeBonis and Vincent Maniscalco to speed up their wedding plans. The two were married by a justice of the peace yesterday in Somerville, outside Boston. Their license, which notes they live in New York, will be among those sent to Romney. "We don't know what will happen, but we consider ourselves legally married and will act that way when we return home," said Maniscalco, 42. Massachusetts on Monday became the first state to issue gay-marriage licenses. Romney pulled out a 1913 law - originally written to bar interracial marriages - and argued it blocked marriage licenses for residents of states - like New York - that don't allow gay couples to marry. The Democrat-controlled state Senate voted overwhelmingly yesterday to repeal the 1913 law.

A good breeder will socialize the babies so well that they will be curious about meeting new people, and will just jump right onto a stranger, expecting cuddles as their right. A lovebird's diet should consist of equal parts seeds, pellets or crumbles, and fruits and vegetables.
