The regional competition is the precursor to the National Science Bowl which will be held at the National 4-H Conference Center in Chevy Chase, Maryland, April 29 - May 3, 2004 The state level science bowl, as with the national one, are academic competitions between teams of students who answer questions on topics such as biology, chemistry, physics, astronomy, earth and computer science and mathematics. The teams are comprised of four students, one alternate, and a teacher who serves as an advisor and coach.
