    TEACHING IDEAS FOR ENGLISH TEACHERS
    Last Revised August 13, 2001
An Assortment of Lesson Plans for Language Arts Teachers
Welcome!!! I've been doing this page for a little over a year. While it's been a challenge to find time to work on it, I have enjoyed the experience. I greatly appreciate the feedback and support I have received over the past year. Hopefully, I've cooked up a tasty menu of teaching ideas that will help you and your students. Most of my ideas are an amalgam of ideas I've collected over the past few years. Very few of the ideas are exclusively my own, so I'll try to give credit when it's due. I'll continue to make a commitment to developing new and creative ideas. I hope you enjoy the page. DIG IN!!!
What's New? As I make new additions to my site, I will list them below:
New Site Content: I've been slacking in this department. While the new ideas have been flowing, I haven't been featuring them on this site. I'll try to do a better job in the future. I'm in the process of posting ideas/links for various units I use in my classroom. In the coming weeks, check out the following:
  • Literature of the American West For the first time in my career I get to teach an elective course. While the design of the course needs some tweaking, I approach the task with enthusiasm. I hope to inject it with my own creativity as I attempt to cover the expansive West in this semester course. Visit often as I add new lesson plans.
