Purpose of Ecolotree For Kids: Student Education, Trees, Fun, and Future Jobs
Ecolotree vice president Eric Aitchison (kneeling) planting trees with 2nd grade students (and their teacher) from West Liberty Elementary (West Liberty, Iowa) Ecolotree staff members continue to work with secondary schools across the United States to aid in understanding ecosystems and to provide experimental supplies. The "Phyto-Kids Fun Kit" allows teachers and students to preform a variety of experiments, including the three experiments prepared by Ecolotree (see below). The Phyto-Kids Fun Kit includes 10-inch tree cuttings shipped by 3-day ground transportation. The costs of the various kits, including the school deduction, are as follows: Phyto-Kids Fun Kits available (includes school discount)

Phases of the Cardiac Cycle

The cardiac cycle is the cycle of events that occurs as the heart contracts. There are two phases of the cardiac cycle. In the diastole phase, the heart ventricles are relaxed and the heart fills with blood. In the systole phase, the ventricles contract and pump blood to the arteries.
