Kentucky Library Flooded Juvenile Order List - May 2 Merle Distributing Company Macomb County Part-Time Reference Librarian Ypsilanti Temporary Librarian II ... Home

  • March 31,1997 TO:
    FROM:
    Kim Winther
Please ask your Friends, patrons, and associates to consider sending a cash donation to the Falmouth, Kentucky library. I spoke with the director, Janie Harter, and they have lost their entire collection in the recent flood, except some volumes on the very top shelves. There is no flood insurance to cover losses. They are obtaining a lot of book donations from Lexington Kentucky and Cincinnati Public but need to purchase new reference material and are facing a 30% drop in property tax value this year.
Donations should be made out to the Pendleton County Public Library, 228 Main Street, Falmouth, KY 41040.
