    Kazakhstan (also Kazakstan Kazakh Qazaqstan Russian ) is a country in Central Asia and was a former republic of the now extinct USSR . It has borders with Russia , the People's Republic of China, Kyrgyzstan Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan and has a coastline on the Caspian Sea
    Kazakhstan is the ninth-largest country in the world by area, but its deserts make it only the 57th country in population. Population estimates range from less than 15 million people to almost 17 million people.
