College of the Arts and Communication: The daily schedule includes a large ensemble rehearsal, music classes, instrumental master classes and evening music activities. Performing Arts offers a major and minor in theater and dance. After taking some courses at Baruch College Continuing and Professional Studies six years ago, I began teaching a course which I had developed called "The Art of Socializing and Networking." Over the years, the course has been quite successful, combining my teaching, hosting and improvising backgrounds. Last year, I was approached by the Director of Baruch College CAPS, Dr. Abraham Tawil, to start this Performing Arts program. A program of this nature has never been offered before at Baruch.
