Introduction
NWHO was founded in 1976 with the goal to provide exceptional medical services to women in a safe and comfortable environment. We understand that your emotional health and safety are as important as your physical well being.
NWHO clinics provide a sound alternative to the high cost of inpatient care. Our clinics are among the most progressive and cost effective in the United States.
All our physicians are licensed medical doctors with specialized expertise in abortion medicine. Many of the clinics offer general anesthesia and/or IV Sedation which is provided by licensed anesthesiologists or CRNAs. All clinics comply with Federal, State and Local regulations and meet or exceed all medical standards.
Abortion Services
We provide 1st and 2nd trimester abortions in clinics and outpatient ambulatory surgical centers. We also provide a 24-hour emergency call service for any post operative problems and the clinics are equipped to handle most emergencies or are able to admit any emergency to a local hospital.
You should expect to be in the clinic between 3-5 hours. During this time, we will obtain a medical history, do a lab work up, ultrasound, and pelvic examination. You will be provided with supportive and educational counseling prior to surgery. Following surgery, you will be closely monitored for 1-1-1/2 hours in a comfortable recovery room under the supervision of the nursing staff.

Agriculture The WTO’s Agriculture Agreement was negotiated in the 1986–94 Uruguay Round and is a significant first step towards fairer competition and a less distorted sector. It includes specific commitments by WTO member governments to improve market access and reduce trade-distorting subsidies in agriculture. These commitments are being implemented over a six year period (10 years for developing countries) that began in 1995. Participants have agreed to initiate negotiations for continuing the reform process one year before the end of the implementation period, i.e. by the end of 1999. These talks have now been incorporated into the broader negotiating agenda set at the 2001 Ministerial Conference in Doha, Qatar.

LONG RANGE AIR LAUNCH TARGET (LRALT) - May 3, 2004 The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) successfully conducted a demonstration launch of a Long Range Air Launch Target (LRALT) at 12:06 a.m. (EDT) Monday, May 3, 2004. (More) The Proteus, a one-of-a-kind aircraft built by Scaled Composites LLC of Mojave, Calif., was in New Mexico recently for a series of tests designed to prove the effectiveness of the unique target board attached to its underside. The Proteus will play a vital role in future tests of the Airborne Laser, a Missile Defense Agency asset which will help protect the United States and its allies from hostile missile attack. Three of the lasers used by ABL will be fired at the target board to demonstrate accuracy and performance, an important test series leading to the shootdown of a scud-like missile. The Proteus, shown here on approach to Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M., flew a series of missions over White Sands Missile Range in the southern part of the state, during which laser beams fired from 8,000-foot-high North Oscura Peak registered against special sensors embedded in the missile-shaped target board.
