India Religion
It is the third largest and the oldest religion of the World. No one is actually certain how old is Hinduism but it can be said with certainity that Indus valley civilisation contributed some ideas to Hindu religion. The earliest known Hindu scriptures are the "Vedas".
Vedas describe the religion of Aryans, who invaded India around 1500 B.C. The Vedic religion was not Hinduism although hindus consider Vedas as their scriptures. Of the Hindu "Trinity"
UNIQUENESS OF HINDUISM
  • There are many definitions of the word 'Hindu' based on geography, religion, or politics etc. but none of them is perfect. It is a way of life, therefore, there is no need to define Hinduism. We should simply recognise the fact that Hindu society exists. Hinduism is universal and contains different schools of philosophy and religion. Hinduism is the oldest religion of the world but it reforms and changes with the demands of the time, thus it is ancient but remains moderm.

Hinjew leaders today conceded the merger of hinduism and Judaism has not worked out as planned, as instead of forming a superreligion to fight off the common Islamic enemy, they had instead created a race of 900 million people who, no matter how many times they are reincarnated, can never please their mothers.

RELIGIOUS MERGER CREATES 900 MILLION HINJEWS
Attainment of Nirvana Still Goal, But Not So Important
That You Should Miss Cousin Vijay's Bar Mitzvah New Delhi, India (SatireWire.com) Military officers, in particular, have found assimilation difficult. "We were all excited at first, especially about the Kama Sutra parts, but it's not going to work," Israeli Col. Benyamin Telluk said at a joint press conference with Indian officers. "I mean, just this morning, I was showing Col. Bhadrak here pictures of my family, and he said my wife was a cow." "I said his wife reminds me of a cow," Bhadrak explained. "Oh, you've said it again!" screamed Telluk. "It's a compliment!" answered Bhadrak. Hinjews across the world, meanwhile, said they also were too busy dealing with integration to worry about Pakistanis, Palestinians, or any other opponents. "Surprisingly, it's not the big issues, like is there one God or are there many? It's the little things," said New York City Hinjew Nathan Feldman. "Like my Hindu half acknowledges that this world is full of suffering, but my Jewish half just goes on and on about it."

The symbol you see above is called the "Omkar" or simply "Om". Omkar is a religious symbol of the Hindus. But it is omnipresent in almost all the major cultures of our world. The pronunciation of the word "OM" is supposed to symbolize the totality of all sounds as it includes all other sounds that humans can utter. This idea of totality also exists in the English word "Omnipresent" that includes OM as its prefix. We also have words like Omnipotent, Omniscient, etc all of which have the concept of totality in their meanings. The ancient Greek alphabet had Omega as its last letter. Omega written in the lower case of the Greek alphabet, if turned to its side, looks quite similar to the Sanskrit (Devanagri) way of writing Om, as is shown in the image above. It is from the Greek alphabet "Omega" that we have the English phrase "the alpha and Omega", which means "to include everything". The Christian term "Amen" is said to have some link with "Om" as also the Islamic term "Amin". Both the terms are phonetically similar to Om.

Hinduism Hinduism is a way of living according to the one's understanding of principles of Vedas and Upanishads. Veda is revealed knowledge. Just as the knowledge of gravity was revealed to Newton, similarly, in India, many Rishis or Seers were awakened to certain transcendental Eternal Truths. These Rishis realized that their real nature was not concerned with or linked with 'body or mind', nor was it dependent on sense perceptions, but was in fact identical with the Universal Consciousness. *Receiving Christ into Your Life*
Introduction:
With the large number of "spiritual paths" and "techniques" facing the world of today it is of special value to consider the life and insights of one who truly embraced the simplicity, love and freedom offered through devotion to Christ ( Yesu Bhaktan Sundar Singh was raised a devout Sikh, and consecrated from his youth to become a Hindu sadhu. However, his spiritual longings were not fulfilled until emotional and spiritual turmoil drove him to urgently ask the true living God to reveal Himself fully, lest he take his own life in the hope of finding peace in the next. The outcome was strikingly similar to that described in Acts 9:3-5 of the Bible's New Testament. Thereafter, the born again Sadhu became a living witness of the eternal security, peace and comfort he had freely received. "Come unto Me all ye that labour and are heavy-laden, and I will give you rest"

173. Jesus Ministries
From hinduism to following Jesus. Supernatural conversion experience of an Indian man now a man of God.
http://www.jesusministries.com.sg/aboutus_1.html
Sundar Selvaraj was born on 17 March 1962 into a Catholic family. He has two sisters and a younger brother. When he was about seven years old, his father embraced Hinduism and became a layman priest. About this time in June 1978, he attended a religious-cum-science lecture at a public auditorium. The distinguished speaker was speaking on the subject of evolution. Young Sundar had great fascination for science and was planning on becoming a neurosurgeon. After speaking for half an hour on evolution, the speaker then compared the science of evolution to the science of creation by God. The topic though interesting disliked Sundar because the speaker introduced Jesus Christ. The speaker said that because of God's great love for man, He came down to earth as a man to die for the sins of the whole world. And only by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ can a person be set free from sin and the cycle of death.
It was as if the chair was prompting him to get up and go. He grabbed the handles of the chair and would not budge an inch.
