OADAP is now Office of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OMHAS) and is in the Health Services cluster. A/R: Applicant or Recipient AAA: Area Agency on Aging AAG: Assistant Attorney General ACCESS: Electronic narrative system for Seniors and People with Disabilities AD : Adult ADC: Aid to Dependent Children. Predecessor of the present Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Program (TANF). The term ADC is still sometimes used. ADCM: Aid to Dependent Children Medical ADD: Attention Deficit Disorder, a term applied to children and adults suffering consistently from poor sustained attention, impaired impulse control, and/or hyperactivity problems.
