Most of the works included here are either basic reference tools or periodical collections that can be found in the Van Pelt or Lippincott libaries. Only sources that include statistics from before 1970 are included in this guide. For this reason, many of the resources are only available in paper versions. Other guides are available for aid in finding more current statistics. More statistical information can be found in the following research guides. Especially important to historical statistics is the guide to the U.S Census.

March 03, 2004 Kerry Rejects Hillary's Outsourced Endorsement (2004-03-03) Sen. John Forbes Kerry today refused to accept Sen. Hillary Clinton's support for the Democrat presidential nomination because the former First Lady issued her endorsement first in an interview on Japanese TV "I will not accept Sen. Clinton's Benedict Arnold endorsement," said Mr. Kerry. "By outsourcing coverage of her announcement to the Nippon Television Network Corporation, Sen. Clinton has cheated the major U.S. networks out of crucial content. I'm for American jobs on American news networks because they generate American tax dollars." Sen. Clinton issued the following statement: "No one can prove to me that Nippon TV is any less American than CNN or ABC News." by Scott Ott Donate TrackBack (1) Comments (106) More Satire ... PHP programming language
For the "PHP" Cold-war history project, see Parallel History Project PHP (now a recursive acronym for " P HP H ypertext P reprocessor", but originally " P ersonal H ome P age Tools",) is a widely used open-source programming language used primarily for server-side applications, to develop dynamic web content such as the MediaWiki software. It can be seen as an open source alternative to Microsoft 's Active Server Pages (ASP) system and to CGI /Perl system. Its ease of use and similarity with the most common structured programming languages, most notably C and Perl , allows most experienced programmers to start developing complex applications with a minimal learning curve. It also enables experienced developers to get involved with dynamic web content applications without having to learn a whole new set of functions and practices. One of the more attractive parts of PHP is that it is more than just a scripting language. Thanks to its modular design, PHP can also be used to develop

Computer graphics has always been one of the most interesting things in computer programming. In the beginning no one can even imagine a game like the real world. But time was going by, computers' power was growing and now it is really hard to surprise anyone with 3D graphics. There are two 3D libraries in the Microsoft Windows world: OpenGL and Direct3D(a part of DirectX). They are different, but at the same time they are like each other very much. OpenGL is more consistent, Direct3D is changing permanently: the last release of DirectX was version 8 and I doubt it will be the last.

It shows how to use XML transformations by using the MSXML SDK. There are of course tons of uses for this, but let me name at least one that made my life easier: (continued) If you need to visualize your XML data in an HTML form in a WebBrowser control, for example, all you need to do is load your XML file (it can be stored in memory, or created on demand), create XSLT processor from a file stored in let's say application resources, and then invoke the transformation. The result is an HTML file that can be shown in a control. You don't need to hard code HTML tags anywhere in the C++ code. It's all in an XSLT file, prepared by your coworkers who don't need to be C++ programmers.
