Su origen remoto habría sido el vishnuismo que creía que Vishnú era el "Dios supremo" que se manifestó como Krishna. A partir de estas ideas Chaitanya Mahaprabhu enseña que Krishna es más bien el "Dios principal" que un día se habría revelado como Vishnú. En este sentido, el pensamiento doctrinal de esta secta aparece como hindú, aunque con algunas transformaciones y adaptaciones nuevas. Dios ya no sería algo impersonal y desconocido solo algo personal a quien se le puede adorar y con quien se puede relacionar uno. En su estado final no tendría personalidad. Bijvoorbeeld: onderzoek en vergelijkende studies gedurende de laatste 25 jaar hebben uitgewezen dat een dieet op vlees gebaseerd nummer één staat wat het veroorzaken van hartziekten en kanker betreft Meer dan de helft van de wereldproduktie van graan (jaarlijks1miljard ton) wordt gebruikt om het vee te voeden. Er wordt slecht 1/7 "teruggegeven" onder de vorm van vlees bruikbaar voor consumptie. De overige 860 miljoen ton worden onbruikbaar voor menselijke consumptie. Een verlies dat overeenkomt met een halve kilo graan voor elke persoon op deze wereld, en dit elke dag !!!! Dit soort van inefficiëntie is de hoofdoorzaak van het huidige wereld-honger-probleem. Daarnaast is het ook zo dat de productie van vlees een van de hoofdoorzaken van de vernietiging van ons milieu is. Meer dan 25 miljard landdieren en een nog veel groter aantal zeedieren worden jaarlijks meedogenloos afgeslacht voor voedsel. Op die manier kunnen we nauwelijks van "geciviliseerde" (beschaafde) menselijkheid praten. Het maakt ons genadeloos en verstoken van medelijden voor alles wat leeft, mensen incluis.

Os pesquisadores recolheram amostras no interior e no exterior de um templo de Taipei e também em um cruzamento da capital de Taiwan. No interior do templo, encontraram concentrações elevadas de hidrocarbonetos aromatizantes policíclicos (PAHs), grupo de componentes químicos altamente cancerígenos. Os PAH`s são liberados durante a combustão de certas substâncias como as encontradas no cigarro comum. Na construção religiosa pesquisada, o nível de PAHs era 19 vezes mais alto que fora dele e também superior ao registrado no cruzamento. Inclusive o cruzamento é considerado um dos locais onde de maior índice de poluição em Taiwan. O mais impressionante é que a presença do hidrocarboneto causador do câncer de pulmão era 40 vezes no templo mal-ventilado do que em lugares onde se fuma. Os pesquisadores mediram níveis de benzopireno 45 vezes mais elevados no templo do que nas casas de fumantes e 118 vezes maiores do que nas casas onde não se queima incenso ou fuma. A conclusão mais óbvia, que salta aos olhos do mais paranóico dos nossos leitores, é de que o incenso é algo muito perigoso.
