    Camp Guernsey is in southeast Wyoming along the North Platte River at an elevation of 4,338 feet. The camp is adjacent to the town of Guernsey, population 1,150, situated 15 miles east of Interstate 25 on Wyoming Highway 26. The 33,291-acre training area features a wide variety of terrain that supports a wide variety of training opportunities. Camp Guernsey customers can train in a wide variety of weather conditions. The mean daytime summer temperatures are in the mid 80s. In winter, the mean daytime temperature hovers in the low 20s. The area's average percipitation is 9 inches, 70 percent of which falls in June.
