Personal Values in Recreation and Leisure: The Similarities and Differences Between Age Groups Sample Paper Chad Skowronski
The Student - 18-24 years of age
I interviewed a somewhat normal college student at Northern Arizona University. I asked him about various aspects in his life concerning recreation and leisure. The following are the answers to my questions:
Recreational activities commonly participated in include:
* Rock climbing
* Backpacking
* Hiking
* River Rafting
* Mountain Biking
* Occasional team sports such as soccer, basketball, football
* Sex * Computer games * Drinking beers with friends Why do you participate in these particular activities? The activities he participated in the most often included mainly the outdoor recreational activities. This was because simply he liked being in nature. There were no other real motivating factors for his recreational habits besides interaction with friends. What types of limitations in recreating do you find as a college student?

The Lake Michigan Campground is located approximately 18 miles west of St. Ignace, between US-2 and the Lake Michigan shoreline. Dunes, waves, sand and wind, are the primary environmental factors present here. The view of the lake is spectacular. Water birds in the area are fun to watch. Camping There are 35 campsites, cold running water and some flush toilets as well as vault toilets. Many sites are excellent tent sites, located between dunes 20 to 30 feet high. Other sites are suitable for trailers and other recreational vehicles. Two spaces are specially located for the handicapped.

Golfing in Melbourne’s Bays and Peninsulas The Mornington and Bellarine peninsulas have become a Mecca for golfers, with over seven new courses opening in recent years and more under development. The natural coastal topography is perfect for links style layouts and has been likened to some of the coastal areas of Scotland and Ireland. Amazing views over Port Phillip Bay and Bass Strait are all part of the experience, with fairways perched high on clifftops and tees facing sparkling waters. Even if you’re having a bad day with your play, the vistas will more than compensate, especially at rugged Cape Schanck and Portsea. For a reasonable green fee, you can tee up at one of Australia’s leading public golf courses. The private clubs welcome members’ guests and golf club members from interstate and overseas, or you can book a tour with one of excellent golf tour operators. Mornington Peninsula:
