Senior Staff Jeannie M. (Sis) Henry Executive Director Effective September 1, 2001, Jeannie M. (Sissy) Henry became the Executive Director of the Georgia School Boards Association. Ms. Henry previously served as Deputy Executive Director of the South Carolina School Boards Association (SCSBA), a position she held since 1995. In 1979 she joined the South Carolina School Boards Association as Director of Public Relations and in 1985 was promoted to Director of Board Development. In total, she has been with the SCSBA for 22 years. Prior to joining SCSBA, she held positions as a teacher, director of public information and coordinator of special services with the Horry County School District in South Carolina. Ms. Henry received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Georgia.
