"CHRIST OUR LIGHT" March 17 It sure has been a busy term and the last 8 weeks have literally flown by. Most assessment dates are available online through each student private desktop, which can be accessed via the internet at home. This is an exciting new dimension to science at Mount Isa Catholic High School. Students can submit their practical reports online, access work they may have missed and print off copies of assignment sheets they may have misplaced. Some students have already taken advantage of the online homework help and have found their answers are simply an email away. It is the Science Department’s expectation that this will help eliminate some of the stress students feel with regards to homework. The Thursday afternoon Science Club and Homework Help have proven to be a huge success with numerous students attending each week. Students have been building circuits, analysing conspiracy theories and working on their assignments at the same time. This is a time for students to voluntarily spend an hour after school enjoying science and being involved in extension activities.
