PROLOGUE A considerable number of books and articles have been written about secrecy and freemasonry, and the subject is often mentioned or discussed by freemasons on the world-wide web. Even though the subject has been covered from many angles, it continues to come up time and again, and it remains an intriguing subject. From the various comments and points of view expressed we can say that on the one hand there are many freemasons as well as non-members who state that freemasonry has secrets, and on the other hand there are those who strongly argue we have none.

"The presence of a noble nature, generous in its wishes, ardent in its charity, changes the lights for us: we begin to see things again in their larger, quieter masses, and to believe that we too can be seen and judged in the wholeness of our character."
To explore the organization that some (very few, actually) so vehemently protest, we must first explain what Masonry IS! Here are some key points: Freemasonry is the world's oldest and largest Fraternity . While its traditions look back to earliest history, Masonry in its current form appeared when its public events were noticed by the residents of London, England in 1717. Although Masonry - particularly in its earliest days - had some elements of secrecy, the first 'exposure' of the supposedly highly-secret Masonic ritual actually appeared in 1696! Since that time, there have been tens of thousands of books published about this 'secret organization'. And for over three hundred years, despite the good works done by its members, Freemasonry has continually suffered the slings and arrows of those who seek to use it's quiet nature against it. Freemasonry's singular purpose is to make good men better and its bonds of friendship, compassion and brotherly love have survived even the most divisive political, military and religious conflicts through the centuries. Freemasonry is neither a forum nor a place of worship. It is

A church which knowingly condones participation in Masonic rituals which teach salvation on the basis of another savior. Many Masons claim they they are members of a "Christian Lodge." http://www.ephesians5-11.org/gllink.htm
Masonic literature recommended by Grand Lodges declares that Lucifer is the Holy Spirit. Those who view the Holy Spirit as part of the Trinity will understand this as a declaration that Lucifer is God! Yet Masons claim that Lucifer has no part in Freemasonry. Masons claim that Freemasonry is not Satanic. If Satan or Lucifer is the god of Freemasonry, why have Masons not heard about it in the Masonic Lodge ritual?

Do Freemasons worship Lucifer?
Over the years, some people have claimed that Freemasons worship Lucifer, or Satan. The truth of the matter is that the name Lucifer is not found in the rituals of the Blue Lodge, or the York Rite. We do not believe that Lucifer is mentioned by name in the Scottish Rite degrees, either. However, one of the "Sacred Words" in the17th Degree of the Scottish Rite is "Abaddon," the angel of the bottomless pit, mentioned in Revelation 9:11. Worship does occur in Masonic Lodges. One of the primary purposes of Freemasonry is worship. That fact is clearly stated in the

Freemasonry
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Freemasonry , a worldwide fraternal organization , often calls itself "a peculiar system of morality veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols." Its members are joined together by high ideals, of both a moral and metaphysical nature (and, in the majority of branches, by a common belief in a Supreme Being). Freemasonry is an " esoteric art ," in that certain aspects of its internal work are not generally revealed to the public. Masons give numerous reasons for this, one of which is that Freemasonry uses an initiatory system of degrees to explore ethical and philosophical issues, and this system is less effective if the observer knows beforehand what will happen. Membership
Freemasons are expected to exhibit the utmost tolerance both in "Lodge" (the meeting place of a group of Freemasons) and in their daily lives. Freemasonry will thus accept members from almost any religion, including all denominations of Christianity Judaism Islam Buddhism , and so forth. Exactly how far this goes depends on the particular branch or "jurisdiction" of Freemasonry one is dealing with.

Biblically based Christian Research became our job and a necessity when a number of major denominations, radio and television "evangelicals" took a decided turn to the left and brought the world into the church rather then the church into the world. The salt of the earth became sugar, some even promising 100 fold return for donations. But that wasn't all. Behind it all emerged their job, the new move to unify all religions including cults, that fosters the current political agenda of a man-made peace at all cost. The job of popular evangelicals, the Promise Keepers, March for Jesus and thousands of other organized religious groups focuses on "Christianizing" cults such as Islam, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Masons, Moonies and thousands of fringe groups. UNITY IN DIVERSITY?
Common denominators essential to this new final church prophesied in the Scripture have the effect of anti Christ teachings. Their job to assimilate all cults and cultures seems to send the message that just about anything goes "it is covered by the blood". Our job is research. It has brought to the surface that some "Christians" in high position condone: rock music, proven to be of satanic origin, homosexuality, abortion, divorce, communication with spirits, consulterers of spirits, necromancy, lying tongues, transexuality, thoughts and ways to oppress the poor, a heart with wicked imaginations, feet that be swift running mischief, bearing false witness, prostitution, conscious intentional falsehoods, following other gods, astrology, and not to forget, "that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God" (Luke 16:15).

Freemasonry and the Druids
W. Winwood Reade
THERE is a divine and hidden science whose origin can only be discovered by the wavering lights of tradition, whose doctrines and purposes are enveloped in sacred mysteries. It is now degenerated into a society of gluttons and wine-bibbers, who yawn while their Masters expound to them those emblems which have excited the wonder of the greatest philosophers of the past, and who deem that the richest gem of freemasonry, is the banquet which closes the labor of the Lodge. And yet this order can boast of some learned and intellectual men, who endeavor to find the key to the hidden language of symbols, and who appreciate at its true value the high honors which the initiated are permitted to enjoy. In spite of the abuses with which it has been degraded, in spite of the sneers with which the ignorant revile it, this institution still possesses much that is holy and sublime. No feelings can be compared with those which a young man feels when, attired in strange array, blind-folded, the dagger pointed to his naked left breast, he is led through the mystic labyrinth, whose intricate ways are emblematical of the toilsome wanderings of his soul. The strains of solemn music-the mysterious words-the low knock at the portalthe sudden blaze of lightand the strange sight which await his eyes feeble and fluttering from their long imprisonment.

Freemasonry is a Non-Christian
Occult Religion
Freemasonry goes by many names, including the Scottish Rite, Masonry, Blue Lodge, Eastern Star (for women), and Shriners. Historically, Masonry has had a strong unifying effect on the American black community. Many people who consider themselves Christians, both black and white, are Masons. Most people, even many Masons incorrectly believe that Masonry is merely a fraternal order, like the Lions Club, Elks Club, etc. Masonry expressly denies it is a religion. Nothing could be further from the truth. Freemasonry is a non-Christian occult religion that teaches a different way to salvation and considers Jesus, Buddha, Confucius, and all spiritual leaders to be only messengers of "The Grand Architect of the Universe". The Grand Architect is not just another term for Jehovah. Freemasonry teaches that there are two basic Gods: Adonay, the god of the Christians , a god of evil and Lucifer , a separate god of good Freemasonry considers the religious scriptures of all religions to be equally valid. Masonry has at least 33 degrees (the lowest is level 1). At each level, a person is given more details, more Masonic 'truth'. Most Masons never get beyond the first few levels.
