THE 1925 BULK REVISION Answer to Question 1: The 1876 Texas Constitution contains the following provision: "The first session of the Legislature under the Constitution shall provide for revising, digesting and publishing the laws civil and criminal; and a like revision, digest and publication may be made every ten years thereafter; . . . ." Since the adoption of the 1876 Constitution, Texas has had four bulk revisions of its statutes.
