Located at Homebush Bay in Sydney, the $690 million stadium will seat 110,000 people. During the Olympics, a continuous lower seating bowl will surround the athletics track, flanked on both sides by two permanent roofed grandstands and by temporary open grandstands at the ends. The stadium will include 125 private suites, 160 open boxes and dedicated bars, restaurants, banquet and function rooms. | |
