    In this assignment each student will be researching any famous Canadian of his/her choice who has had an impact on Canadian history from the turn of the 20th century to the present day. Politicians, inventors, actors/actresses, musicians, authors, sports figures, etc., are all possibilities. Keep in mind that the more current your famous Canadian is, the more difficult the assignment will be due to a lack of information. During the first library period students are encouraged to select a Canadian of their choice and begin the process of researching the relevant information. As soon as you have selected a Canadian, indicate your choice to your teacher.
    Your Sources:
    There are three kinds of resources you can use for completing your research on this assignment:
    print resources which list the area in the library where Canadian biography can be found,
