What is the purpose of each? And how is that purpose related to the work of NYS TESOL?

First, NYSCEA provides an interface between many K-12 teacher organizations and the NYS Department of Education (SED). Second, SCOL provides an opportunity for four related groups to meet regularly. Third, many of these same organizations have recently joined to create a strong lobbying force through the New York Bilingual/ESL Education Reform Coalition. To unravel the acronyms, read on.
