The Bariloche Foundation Energy Program (in charge of the Institute for Energy Economics-IDEE/FB) General Description The Institute began its activities in 1978. Its working program is aimed at the development of basic and applied research, training, and technical assistance in the field of economy, planning, policies, and environment, related to energy production and use. Due to its eminently socio-economic and interdisciplinary approach, the staff includes economists, engineers specialized in different fields, statisticians, mathematicians, agronomists and computer specialists. The development of these activities is focused on the analysis of specific problems in Argentina, Latin America and developing countries, within the context of the international energy situation. The results of this Research and Technical Assistance are made known through publications and regular seminars. This experience is also directly fed into the the Latin American Postgraduate Course on Energy and Environment Economics and Policies , which lasts four months and has been carried out annually since 1969. Its participants are professionals from public and private energy enterprises, universities, and planning organizations from all of Latin American countries. Until now, more than 600 professionals have been trained in this Course, which is permanently modified and updated.

You are more
than your
physical self...
Ascending Earth Energy
You are more than your physical self... We are energy. It is not just about placing your
hands on a person and being able to affect change in the whole being.
It is not just about sending 'healing energy' out into the world.
It is not just about giving your love to all.
It is not just about praying for peace. It is about the energy of unconditional love.
Knowing what it is, how to use it, who it affects, how it affects others,
living with it and the integration of it. Where are YOU in your spiritual growth? 1) There is something more 'out there' more than the physical self.
2) I think I am a part of it.
3) I want to be a part of it (intent). 4) I believe I am a part of it (action). 5) Move from believing to KNOWING (from the mind to the heart). 6) Having wisdom to use it (unconditional love). 7) Integration. As we progress forward in our spiritual growth, everything progresses with us. We are always able to do more. We are not the same spiritual beings we were prior to the year 2000 or even 9/11/2001. We are being asked to "choose".

180. Energy Savers: Lighting
Increasing your lighting efficiency is one of the fastest ways to decreaseyour energy bills. They are safer and use much less energy.
http://www.pueblo.gsa.gov/cic_text/housing/energy-savers/lighting.html
Return to Federal Citizen Information Center Home Page Increasing your lighting efficiency is one of the fastest ways to decrease your energy bills. If you replace 25% of your lights in high-use areas with fluorescents, you can save about 50% of your lighting energy bill. Indoor Lighting Use linear fluorescent and energy-efficient compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) in fixtures throughout your home to provide high-quality and high-efficiency lighting. Fluorescent lamps are much more efficient than incandescent bulbs and last 6 to 10 times longer. Although fluorescent and compact fluorescent lamps are more expensive than incandescent bulbs, they pay for themselves by saving energy over their lifetime. Indoor Lighting Tips Compact Fluorescent Bulbs
These compact fluorescent bulbs are four times more energy efficient than incandescent bulbs and provide the same lighting.
Torchiere Lamp
Halogen lamps generate excessive heat that can create fire hazards. Use compact fluorescent lamps in your torchiere fixtures. They are safer and use much less energy.
