Technical Electrical Engineering (TEE) Ltd was formed in 1986 and was granted NICEIC membership in 1987. Originally formed to cover the needs of local builders and architects, we soon expanded to service many other types of outlets. This expansion was only possible because of the dedicated team of qualified professionals that serve us. The team includes time served qualified electricians, some of whom have additional allied skill trades, such as mechanical and industrial experience, or have been through our own in house training scheme.
Our in-house training scheme was designed to combat the shortage of skilled staff in the trade and was set up in collaboration with other training organisations and technical colleges. The system has meant that we have a highly professional team with skills that are second to none. A reflection of our standards is our involvement in several substantial contracts as far afield as London and Manchester.
Cornwall has a variety of businesses that demand or require rapid and professional responses. These include nursing homes, frozen food suppliers, farmers, garages and restaurants as well as domestic customers. Although we have undertaken corporate multi-national contracts, we continue to base the majority of our custom around our long-standing or local clients.

Nature of the Work About this section Back to Top From the global positioning system that can continuously provide the location of a vehicle to giant electric power generators, electrical and electronics engineers are responsible for a wide range of technologies. Electrical and electronics engineers design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacture of electrical and electronic equipment. Some of this equipment includes broadcast and communications systems; electric motors, machinery controls, lighting, and wiring in buildings, automobiles, aircraft, and radar and navigation systems; and power generating, controlling, and transmission devices used by electric utilities. Many electrical and electronics engineers also work in areas closely related to computers. However, engineers whose work is related exclusively to computer hardware are considered computer hardware engineers , another engineering specialty covered elsewhere in the Handbook.
