CES: Collaborative Editing Systems and Algorithms
This project aims to develop a suite of operational transformation-based algorithms for interactive groupware applications. The OT algorithm was originally proposed by Ellis and Gibbs in SIGMOD, 1989. It has attracted significant and lasting research interests in the group editing community over the past 15 years. Even today there are still plenty of research opportunities. The beauty of this family of distributed algorithms lies in that collaborators over a network using a group editor that implements OT can edit simultaneously on any part of their local replicas of the shared (text) document without being blocked or delayed (as compared to traditional concurrency control algorithms such as locking and serialization). An OT algorithm is used to maintain consistency among replicas. Local response is as good as using a single-user editor. OT algorithms we have been working on include SDT (state difference transformation), TIBOT (Time Interval Based Operational Transformation), and regional undo. We are also trying to make the traditional research-oriented group editing (operational transformation) algorithms really usable and useful. Certainly there are plenty of new research issues to address to achieve this goal.

Editing Your Writing
Editing is an important part of writing. It is where you look at your paper with a critical eye. Editing is also using what is called The Writing Process Your computer can help you with some of these tasks, but not all of them! Common Errors in Editing Not editing at all! Editing counts for a large portion of your writing grade, yet some students try to squeak by without editing at all. You can show that you have edited by attaching your pre-writing and rough drafts to the back of your final draft. Not using the entire writing process when you write. When you write for a grade at school, you are expected to use the entire writing process Not applying basic rules of spelling. Don't forget to check your spelling!

CV writing service h ome request info c ... ontact
W hy use a CV writing service? There are many reasons for using a professional CV writer. Firstly, writing a CV (curriculum vitae) to a high standard is vitally important when you're looking for a job. Rightly or wrongly, most employers look at your CV and decide in moments whether you're the sort of person they wish to employ or not. If your CV is messy and difficult to read, or fails to focus on the points the reader is interested in, your application is over before you get close to the interview room. So your CV needs to be clear, uncluttered and easy on the eye. But it's not just about good looks: the content must also make you shine. Every positive point about your skills, experience, personal qualities and approach must be highlighted and brought to the reader's attention. As a CV writer with years of international experience, having worked on hundreds of CVs for people from the USA, UK, China and Singapore, I will ensure that your CV does just that. I will write a CV from scratch, update it, improve or edit it, creating a document so polished the reader will feel that they know you already. I offer different CV styles written to suit your circumstances, taking into account your individual needs and those of the sector you're aiming for.
