    THE DEPARTMENT
    The Department has an active research agenda. Faculty members of the Department of Economics do research in the area of industrial organization, damage evaluation, uncertainty and risk, environmental economics, regional economics, location theory, international trade and finance, public finance and general economic theory. The Department averages about six or seven publications per year in refereed journals.
