Table of Contents
What Is Ketamine?
Ketamine, or ketamine hydrochloride, is a non-barbiturate, rapid-acting disassociative anesthetic used on both animals and humans; it also has been used in human medicine for pediatric burn cases and dentistry, and in experimental psychotherapy. It is being abused by an increasing number of young people as a "club drug," and is often distributed at "raves" and parties.
What Are Some of Its Street Names?
Some street names for ketamine are: K, Ket, Special K, Vitamin K, Vit K, Kit Kat, Keller, Kelly's day, Green, Blind squid, Cat valium, Purple, Special la coke, Super acid, and Super C. Slang for experiences related to ketamine or effects of ketamine include, "k-hole," "K-land," "baby food," and "God."
How Is It Being Abused?
Ketamine is a liquid and the most potent ways of using it are by injecting it intramuscularly or intravenously. There is the risk of losing motor control before injection is completed. Ketamine also can be made into a tablet, or a powder by evaporating the liquid and reducing it to a fine white powder that can be smoked or snorted. Because of its appearance, Ketamine is often mistaken for cocaine or crystal methamphetamine. Some reports indicate it is sometimes sold as MDMA (Ecstasy) and mixed with other drugs such as ephedrine and caffeine. "Cafeteria use" the use of a number of hallucinogenic and sedative/hypnotic club drugs such as MDMA, GHB, LSD, and illegally used prescription drugs is reported almost everywhere in the U.S.

PATROL DIVISION RESPONSIBILITIES The Emmett Township Department of Public Safety is made up of several separate units that function as one agency. The department provides law enforcement, fire, and medical response that, combined with other areas, make up a department that well exceeds the norm for local policing. Each Emmett Township Public Safety Officer Level III are trained in both Law Enforcement and Fire/Medical response. By having these officers trained in the above areas, they are able to provide the citizens of Emmett Township, and those who pass through the area, the absolute best in all response needs. The Emmett Township Dept. of Public Safety Patrol Division focuses on several different areas to provide a safe and free area for the residents: The department utilizes extensive traffic patrol to cut down on traffic accidents within the jurisdiction. While people are concerned about receiving a citation, it is a proven fact that speed causes death. The Emmett Township Dept. of Public Safety feels that a visible patrol response will not only slow down vehicles, but will also possibly prevent future accidents from occurring. Emmett Officers believe that drugs hinder the growth of young people and also can destroy communities that they affect. By this, ETDPS Officers take a very pro-active response to prevent, or remove, drugs from entering Emmett Township. Officers utilize traffic stops, K-9 Units, informant information, and general information from the public to fight the war on drugs. Our department has made multiple

And I'm asking you to help in spreading the word about the horrific implications of this document concerning US war crimes (those already committed and about to be committed in the next war against Iraq if the policies in this document are followed now as they were in 1991).
