Teachers: lesson plans
On this part of the website you can find 5 lesson resources on Internet safety which you can use in the classroom. Some are simple, for example the Have Fun Communicating exercise. Others will take more time and involve you using or ordering the other resources on this website. We are constantly revising and improving these resources following your feedback, so if you do download them we would really like to hear about your experience with them. Do also click on the pupils section which includes further "stand alone" resources that pupils can use on their own. Activity 4 will help you look at how the Internet can inspire young people to express opinions, share skills and communicate with others around the world. The websites chosen are award winning and have been developed by pupils and teachers all over the world. Each exercise is briefly described below and the worksheets and detailed lesson plans can be downloaded and then photocopied. The key stage which we feel is most relevant for the materials are indicated.
