Overview
Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC) and the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB), two long-established and high regarded non-profit organizations, are collaborating with State Education Agencies (SEAs) and two of the Regional Technology in Education Consortia (SEIRTEC and NEIRTEC) on a large-scale program that will enable SEAs to make effective use of online professional education to improve teacher quality, administrator quality, and student achievement, thereby helping them meet the primary goals of NCLB. This initiative includes the following inter-related and synergistic components. 1. The EdTech Leaders® Online program, The EdTech Leaders® Online program, developed by EDC, offers a comprehensive package of training, technical assistance, and resources to enable educational organizations to develop their capacity to offer effective online professional development. More than 700 individuals, from more than 60 SEAs, school districts and other organizations in 26 states, have participated in this program since its inception in 1999, and they, in turn, have provided online professional development workshops to more than 10,000 educators. Home Officers AMWA.org ... Contact Toolkit for New Medical Writers Toolkit for New Medical Writers By the Delaware Valley Chapter of the American Medical Writers Association Contents Opportunities in Medical Writing top Medical writing is a great career! The work is interesting and often lucrative, and the demand for medical writers is high. Few people start out to be medical writers; most of us fall into it. Some of us have scientific or medical degrees (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD in a scientific field) and have worked in the field (e.g., as an academic, bench scientist, physician, pharmacist) or in administration and somehow find ourselves doing medical communications work. Some of us have Journalism or English degrees, work in communications, and end up writing about health and medicine. There are two basic types of medical writer: scientific and non-scientific or marketing. In general, scientific medical writers have advanced science-based degrees (science, medicine, pharmacy, etc.) and often learn about writing by becoming a medical writer. Marketing medical writers have a journalism or English degree and often learn about medicine by becoming a medical writer. Scientific medical writers generally do more scientific/technical writing for professional audiences. Marketing medical writers do marketing-oriented writing, often for consumers or lay audiences.

Dear Black Excel Student and Parent Supporters This is a quick gateway (below) that you should consider immediately to resource help. Each state has aid sources
you should inquire about. No question about that! These
aid sources cover a wide range of programs, sometimes
including resident and fee reductions, "incentive awards,"
grants, scholarships, loans and more. High school guidance
counselors should be keeping you abreast in regard to what's
available. Often, however, this has not been the case. This
is a BLACK EXCEL tip. Call or write the appropriate state
