Imagination Celebration 2002
Imagination Celebration of Orange County was The Center's first venture into educational outreach. From its inception in 1986, Imagination Celebration has evolved into an exciting 16 day festival of music, drama, dance and a stunning array of inter-active entertainments involving families and students. The Center, which regularly offers top international family entertainers at Segerstrom Hall during Imagination Celebration, is a major partner with the Orange County Department of Education in the presentation of this annual, county-wide event. Many performances are free and always affordably priced to encourage maximum participation. As its name suggests, the festival is both a celebration of the arts and an invitation to young people to let their imaginations take flight.

A Fiber Art Show and Educational Exhibit
April 9 through July 4, 2004
Located on the passenger walkway connecting Jeppesen Terminal and Concourse A, Level 6 To showcase the creativity and craftsmanship of the members of the Rocky Mountain Weavers Guild (RMWG), the Guild presents the best of its members' work in the areas of weaving, spinning, knitting, felting, stitchery, beading, basketry, dyeing and surface design. The RMWG is the local host of Convergence 2004 Denver , the international fiber conference to be held June 27 through July 3, 2004 at the Colorado Convention Center. For sales inquiries, contact Mimi Moore , Exhibitions Manager, 303-342-2521 or Colleen Fanning , Art Program Manager, 303-342-2523. The DIA Art Exhibition Program provides a positive diversion from the pressures of traveling. There are several venues in the airport that feature changing exhibits. The main exhibition space is located on the connecting bridge between the Terminal on Level 6 and the security checkpoints leading to Concourse A. Shows change quarterly and include work by regional artists, folk art and crafts and topics dealing with history, transportation and cultural interests. A theme is developed for each exhibit from an artistic point of view and interpretation. The program collaborates with museums, cultural institutions and arts organizations to present the highest quality two- and three-dimensional work.

Introduction
In 1993, when I first began to research theatre sites on the internet, it was a difficult and laborious project. Sites were hard to find, search engines were underdeveloped, there were very few theatre people who had taken an interest in, or even knew about the internet. Obviously, things have changed. Now the World Wide Web is easily accessible through a variety of web browsers, making specific knowledge of such utilities as telnet, ftp, and gopher (remember that one?) more or less obsolete.
