What is General Ultrasound Imaging?
Ultrasound (US) imaging, also called ultrasound scanning or sonography, is a method of obtaining images from inside the human body through the use of high frequency sound waves. The reflected sound wave echoes are recorded and displayed as a real-time visual image. No ionizing radiation (x-ray) is involved in ultrasound imaging. Obstetric ultrasound refers to the specialized use of sound waves to visualize and thus determine the condition of a pregnant woman and her embryo or fetus. Ultrasound is a useful way of examining many of the body's internal organs, including the heart, liver gallbladder spleen pancreas ... kidneys , and bladder. Because ultrasound images are captured in real-time, they can show movement of internal tissues and organs, and enable physicians to see blood flow and heart valve functions. This can help to diagnose a variety of heart conditions and to assess damage after a heart attack or other illness.

Hey! I'm a junkman! All manufacturers' names, numbers, symbols, and descriptions are for reference purposes only. It is not implied that any part listed is the product of these manufacturers.
Looking for a part?
If it's for agricultural equipment, you've come to the wrong place. Try the Antique Tractor Internet Service for some great sources. For a comprehensive list of Ag links, you won't find more than Lorenzo Mfg! For those parts and service books you need, check out Binder Books. While specializing in I.H. they also have an ever increasing selection of other manufacturers' reference materials too. For old Caterpillar parts books and manuals there is no longer any source I can recommend. If you have needs for small tractors, there is no better source than going to The Small Tractor FAQ and plan on book marking all the above sites. But if you want a part for your Crawler, Dozer, Loader, Scraper, or Motor grader , this site will work for you. (And so will I!) I have been parting out construction equipment for over 20 years (for myself), previously for a Caterpillar dealership, and have over 50,000 part numbers in my database. (And that is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg.)

    http://www.law.emory.edu/EILR/volumes/fall95/robisch.html
Article GENERAL WILLIAM T. SHERMAN: WOULD THE GEORGIA CAMPAIGNS OF THE FIRST COMMANDER OF THE MODERN ERA COMPLY WITH CURRENT LAW OF WAR STANDARDS? by Thomas G. Robisch I. INTRODUCTION From March 18, 1864, until the close of the Civil War, Major General William T. Sherman was the commander of the Federal Division of the Mississippi. The campaigns he designed and conducted led to Sherman's reputation as one of the most successful military leaders of the war. Sherman's high standing seems anomalous, however, if judged exclusively by his battlefield exploits, because although he usually succeeded in achieving the objectives of his campaigns, he rarely won individual battles clearly and decisively. His great military prestige is really based upon his visionary strategic and operational concepts and his army's striking execution of those ideas. In this sense, Sherman is regarded as the first commander of the modern era. The general's reputation as a contemporary commander stems from his belief in total war, which is the concept that armed conflict involves a struggle not only between competing military forces but also between the societies of the competing states. Within that context, Sherman recognized that a nation could succeed militarily by destroying the opposing side's ability to wage war, and that an army could conduct better campaigns for this purpose by maneuvering its forces against an enemy's economic infrastructure in addition to engaging belligerent troops.
