The Bank of Canada's Currency Museum has the most complete collection of Canadian bank notes, coins and tokens in the world. You can learn about the history of currency in Canada and how bank notes are designed and printed today. The impressive Yap stone, a curious piece from the island of Yap, is on display in the Garden Court, just outside the Currency Museum of the Bank of Canada. It has the shape of a flattened doughnut, is more than two meters in diameter and weighs about three tons. Stones shaped like this one, but mainly much smaller in size, were used as money up to modern times on Yap, one of the Caroline Islands in the South Pacific. This piece has even been showcased in Ripley's "Believe it or not" Museum. Canada Agriculture Museum

QUIPUS CULTURAL FOUNDATION
The Quipus Cultural Foundation (QCF) is a non-profit organization established in 1985 by a group of prominent Bolivians . It is concerned with the promotion and preservation of the cultural and artistic expressions of Bolivia's diverse ethnic groups . Compared to many other South American countries, Bolivia has maintained its pre-Columbian traditions and identities. Its rural and urban citizens are highly influenced by Andean and other indigenous world views. The dynamic mixing of these and Western world-views creates rich art, craft and culture.
The principal strategy that the Foundation employs is to stimulate the active interest of Bolivians in their pre-columbian and colonial history, and their understanding of the processes that have created today's multi-cultural society. Unfortunately, this effervescent culture is not legitimized within the educational system which teaches history from colonialism on, even though more that 60% of the population speaks a native language. The Foundation is designing a Museum of Bolivian Arts and Cultures in La Paz to accomplish these goals, and is creating interactive theater programs in Sucre for children to learn about the culture of indigenous groups throughout Bolivia.

Native Americans
Western New Mexico has a history rich with Native American culture. During the 12th century, the Anasazi Indians (or "Ancient Ones") established an advanced civilization near Chaco Canyon. With more than 5,000 inhabitants, this site included 40 underground ceremonial kivas and communal living quarters with more than 600 rooms. Then, the Anasazi suddenly disappeared. The mystery has never been solved, but scientists trace the roots of today's pueblo Indians to these ancient Anasazi people. Pueblos
The word "pueblo" refers to an Indian culture that is unique to the Southwest, and not to a particular tribe. New Mexico is home to 19 pueblos, two of which are located near Grants. Though they share many common elements, each pueblo has an independent government, and its own social order and religious practices. The pueblos are further distinguished by their art, jewelry, pottery, drums, carvings and weavings. Indian Tourism
Regional trade fairs, all-Indian rodeos, public dances and feast day celebrations provide perfect opportunities to visit pueblos. Some of western New Mexico's most beautiful landscape is found on Indian lands, and opportunities for unique outdoor recreational experiences abound.

This Virtual Museum of Cultural Revolution was built upon a proposal by the Editorial Board of Hua Xia Wen Zhai in the Spring of 1996. (Please read the Preface and refer to an article written in 1986 by Ba Jin.) Since then, the editorial board has collected more than 1 million words' worth of materials. These works have come to us from scholars of the Cultural Revolution, readers' contributions, and articles we found scattered in all sorts of electronic and print publications. They have all been published in more than 60 issues of Zeng Kan , a HXWZ supplement. Visitors may find the collection, arranged by "Exhibition Halls" , in the Chinese version of Virtual Museum of Cultural Revolution . The English version, as displayed below, is to be built similarly. (Please note that, as of now, most of the texts are in Chinese while the table of contents is in English.)
