months of the year four seasons Christmas First Comunion ... miscellaneous knitting for children for woman for man crocheting ... Hungarian embroidery
I've done my first needleworks when I was ten years old or so. I embroidered for example the pillow-case in linen on the image. I did also some cross-stitch works, they were monocoloured (blue or red) with stylized subjects. In Hungary there is a very rich tradition of needlework, different for every region. I also learned knitting and crocheting (it was very fashionable in the early 70's). Then came the period that for stitching I had no time at all as I was too much busy at school and at work (I took my degree in economy and worked as system organizer). It was after I got married and transfered in Italy that I've restarted with cross-stitching and knitting. I've found beautiful projects in the specialized journals. Here in Italy I learned filet-crocheting, too, it's very popular here. My mother-in-law is always busy with some work. I've made curtains representing the four seasons for my kitchen-windows and actually I am working on a bedcover for my daughter, accordingly to tradition in these regions of Italy.

Beaded Crochet, Crocheting with Beads Methods
Adding beads to your crochet projects can produce fascinating results. Beads can be crocheted into each stitch as you go along, or sewn on later. Method 1: To crochet a bead into each stitch as you go along, start by deciding how many beads you will need for the patterning that you are visualizing and string the beads on to the thread or yarn before you begin. (If you are using a large number of beads, it may be more manageable to string on one row at a time, breaking the yarn after each row is crocheted, leaving a length for weaving in the yarn ends to the wrong side when the article is finished.) To work a beaded stitch insert the crochet hook into the back loop of the stitch, yarn over the hook, draw yarn through. This leaves two loops on the hook. Slide a bead up close to the two loops, put the yarn over the hook (from the far side of the bead), draw the yarn through both of the loops. This holds the bead in place on the wrong side of the crocheted piece.

Double Feature: Crocheting in the Round
and Butterfly Chart #3, the Syrmatia Dorilas
Designed by Sandi Marshall 5/97 FEATURE ONE Crocheting in the Round When crocheting in rounds, what can you do to keep your crocheted piece from buckling in the middle? Increases in the pattern keep the work lying flat. Most patterns are written with the correct amount of increases and there is no problem. If buckling does occur, however, try adding more (or less, if needed) increases in your rounds until this corrects the problem. Let's have some fun
    with a few patterns
that are crocheted in rounds. Among the free patterns at this site you'll find these animal potholder patterns , that are an example of crocheting circles.
