The Criminal Justice Graduate Program strongly emphasizes the application of theory and research in executive decision-making, policy development and analysis, and the treatment of offenders. While all graduate students are required to complete core courses, students are allowed to select elective courses that match their individual academic and career interests. Faculty research includes attention to the major components of the criminal justice system, as well as the study of criminal behavior and law. While the program is administered at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, the Department of Criminal Justice offers the complete undergraduate major on both the Omaha and Lincoln campuses of the University of Nebraska.
