Our focus is to help schools and families create and sustain partners for children's school success. CPIRC works with communities in Colorado to expand or enhance their home-based early childhood development programs through statewide networks that provide support to HIPPY (Home Instruction Program for Preschool Youngsters) and PAT (Parents As Teachers) programs. Parents in Colorado have access to the Families First Family Support Line , a toll-free "warmline" providing support and information, from a trained volunteer, in response to parents’ questions about parenting and related topics.
