is one of the most respected online coin dealers. With annual sales in excess of $2 million, most of our customers are repeat buyers and return month after month to add to their collections. We have some of the most unique items available anywhere and unlike most dealers who only carry current date coins, we strive to carry the entire series, many of which are difficult to find. We are a reputable coin dealer and the only coin dealer in the Atlanta Metropolitan area that is a member of the Better Business Bureau. We have a reputation for providing premium quality coins as we reject a lot of coins that many of our competitors would accept and attempt to resell to you at lowball prices. This, combined with our 100% satisfaction guarantee ensures you will be pleased with the coins we offer or we will replace the coin or refund your purchase price. Our return rate is less than one tenth of 1%, one of the best return rates in the industry. Our inventory is always expanding so even if you don't find what you want, be sure to check back often as we scour the world to find new and interesting material almost daily.

Coin Collecting for Beginners
I've been collecting coins sporadically since I was a little kid. Once I started surfing the web, I expected to find tons of helpful sites. There are many excellent sites out there (see the links page), but I was surprised that relatively few of them cater to beginners. This site will offer advice for newbies on how to get started, how to pursue this hobby even on a low budget, and some suggestions for those who already have some experience in the hobby but want to renew or expand their interest. Please note: I am currently in the process of moving. All my coins are packed away and I probably won't have internet access over the next couple days. I'm suspending any trades until I get settled in at my new place later this week. I should be ready to trade again by the weekend. Thanks for your patience.

Saturday - June 05, 2004 rare coin investment scam busted A couple in Miami were living the high life in their $3.5 million dollar home, purchased with money they got from unsuspecting victims. Their lawyer claims they are innocent , and the Mayor of Golden Beach has offered to be a character witness and put up bail for their release. The purported scam was that the couple put advertisements for gold coins in several Christian magazines at exorbitant prices. Individuals unaware of their actual value bought them for investment purposes, only to discover much later that they had been swindled. The couple also targeted the elderly and those with IRAs, convincing them to pay excessive amounts for large numismatic investments. A woman spent all of her $250,000 life savings on $40,000 worth of coins and another man lost $360,000 to the couple, but was too embarrassed to sue. Another unhappy customer by the name of Kenneth Viall decided to do something about it. He created a web site to warn people of the fraudulent activities of the DeAngelis couple.

NUMISMATICS AND THE BRITISH COIN

Welcome to the world of numismatics - British coin collecting is a fantastic way to own a token piece of history whether you are a collector of ancient coins, rare coins or specific British coin designs, sovereigns or piedfort, produced by the Royal Mint. UK coins struck in gold, silver, palladium and platinum are especially of numismatic interest, as are those UK coins that are uncirculated and finished to proof standard - struck, etched and polished to give a mirror-like finish. A UK coin is a document of its time - with numismatics you can travel through time as each coin is a piece of history in the palm of your hand. Rare coins and ancient coins are extra special, making coin collecting more intriguing. The challenge of finding rare coins, and the careful cleaning of ancient coins to reveal their worth and status make coin collecting and numismatics in general an exciting pursuit.

The $1 Million Nickel
According to a recent CNN report "the search is on for a rare, old nickel. No one cares that it's a fake. The coin in question is a Liberty Head nickel bearing the date 1913, and it's been missing since the early 1960s. Now, coin dealers at Bowers and Merena Galleries of Wolfeboro, N.H., are offering a $1 million bounty to anyone who turns it in." Read more...
