Such is the case with American Chinese pop heart-throb Wang Leehom. He has boy-next-door charm, a gentle manner and a healthy physique. It all adds up to hordes of adoring female fans and at least an equal number of guys who just can't understand the attraction.
To quote Wang: "My biggest goal is to compose music and hope it will bring the audience inspiration for life". Mostly, it seems he inspires them to scream and scream again - as they will doubtless also do at his upcoming Shanghai Stadium concert.
To pursue this goal, he went to Taiwan and released a first album

David has prepared an excellent range of traditional Chinese dishes. Introduction Chinese cooking is one of the greatest cuisines in the world ... and one of the most popular outside of its homeland.  Peking and Cantonese style cooking are similar in its origin but they have different tastes. Peking style is predominantly fried dishes and Cantonese is more steam dishes. This web site covers both styles of cooking, giving you the choice of both fried and steamed dishes.  Stir fry cooking is a common feature throughout the various regional cooking styles of China. This web site presents a selection of some of the most popular dishes served in most Chinese restaurants throughout the Western World. Most of the ingredients listed in this web site may be readily purchased from most good Chinese provisional stores or from this Web Site (soon), just go to Hypermarket section... some of the more common ingredients can be purchased from most general food stores and supermarkets.    More recipes will be featured in our monthly newsletter ... so please sign up by leaving your e-mail for your Chinese Recipes Newsletter -

The Institute of Chinese Culture
What's new?
Welcome to the homepage of the Institute of Chinese Culture (ICC). The ICC, founded in Houston in 1970, became the first non-profit, formally chartered Chinese language school and cultural organization in Texas. It was established to promote and preserve the Chinese culture and heritage within a multicultural community. The ICC had its beginnings at the campus of Rice University and then relocated to the Clarewood location in 1988. A fire in 1995 destroyed the building which housed the ICC. The education operations continued from facilities generously provided by Southwest College of the Houston Community College System. The ICC recently purchased a building at 10550 Westoffice Drive as a permanent location for the school. The new building is the culmination of the effort and contribution, a shining moment in the history of the ICC and a reflection of generous community spirit. A Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for the new building was held on Saturday, August 16, 1997. The Board of Directors as well as all the parents and students of the ICC cordially give sincere thanks to the entire Houston community to participate in this joyous occasion. The ICC also extends many thanks to Rice University and the Houston Community College System for their enormous support in the past, and to all the friends of the ICC near and far who made this dream become a reality. The ICC provides the following Saturday classes. Please contact Mrs. Jeanne Ma (281-980-5172) for further information:

Welcome to Hakka Hunt, a site that aims to provide comprehensive knowledge about the Chinese particularly the Hakka community who are famous for their hill songs and their contribution to Chinese culture.
This site is a culmination of my efforts to better understand my culture in a world where multiple-cultures are a norm. Yet, as a Hakka person and as an informed individual, I would like to share some of the things I have learned in my pursuit.
About three years ago, I started this website to learn more about my own background and culture. In return, I have been rewarded with wonderful stories about Hakka people from all parts of the world. I am very grateful to everyone who has shared his/her story with me. It is for you that I keep this site up and running.
I invite you to look around and let me know what you think of this site. Any suggestions and comments are greatly appreciated.
