Having a bottle of very smelly deodorant explode all over me in an airline toilet halfway to Bangkok. The cabin crew had to find me a change of clothes and it made the whole cabin stink.
How do you relax?
I watch Formula One motor racing and rugby league on TV, embroider, garden, eat out and go kayaking on Wellington Harbour.

Children's author Jacqueline Wilson became the top lending author for 2002-3 according to data released by the Public Lending Right in February 2004. This ended Dame Catherine Cookson's 17-year reign as the most borrowed author, although romantic fiction remained popular, with Danielle Steel, Josephine Cox and Catherine Cookson in second, third and fourth places respectively.
Titles by children's author JK Rowling featured high in the lending chart, with Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets the fourth most borrowed title overall, and the most borrowed children's book. However, Rowling is only the 42nd most borrowed author due to the limited number of titles available. The top overall title was John Grisham's
